Details to keep in mind : For health and safety, all guests are required to sign an acknowledgment, release and informed consent form, prior to enjoying the spa. Please notify our staff if you are pregnant or have any medical conditions or physical ailments, as certain treatments may not be suitable. Note that Grounded is a completely cell phone and smoke free environment. We thank you for your understanding.

Please understand we are a small business with real people, with kids and stuff, so our policies are written to eliminate missed appointments, no-shows, lost wages, and frustration with everyone’s busy schedules.

Ex. You need to cancel your 10am appt and it’s 6am that morning or 9pm the night prior. You call the studio and the receptionist is still sleeping. No one is going to get your voicemail in time because your therapist has already secured a babysitter and driven into work. This is how they make a living. And this is why we need 24 hours notice. Flow and respecting everyone’s time. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Kindness Policy : We believe in the power of kindness and appreciate everyone we have the opportunity in meeting. Our crew is as diverse as our community that we serve, and we look forward to your visit with us.

Cancelation Policy : A 24-hour cancellation notice with a human is required once an appointment is scheduled. Cancellations less than 24 hours via voicemails are not accepted. Please call the day prior and before the end of our business day to avoid charges. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a 100% charge for the service[s] scheduled with the authorized credit card on file. Same day and no-show appointments will result in a 100% charge for reserved services. 

Cancellations that occur following/during a "holiday" require a 48 hour notice. This includes the following holidays: New Years Day, February 14, Mother’s Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, Veterans Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Break Nov 16-29, and Dec 20-31.

Scheduling Changes Policy : A 24-hour scheduling change with a human is required once an appointment is scheduled [ie. type of massage, add-ons]. Changes with less than 24 hours via voicemails are not accepted. Please call the day prior and before the end of our business day to avoid charges. We will make all changes that are possible; however, if we are unable to make the changes to your satisfaction, this will result in a 100% charge for the service if the service cannot be completed. 

No-Call No-Show Policy : Missing your appointment without calling will result in a 100% charge for reserved services with the authorized credit card on file.  A no-call no-show will also result in suspension of the guests account with Grounded until the account has been settled and paid in full. It's also really bad karma.

Charges to your account : If you have been charged by Grounded Bodyworks LLC without authorization, please contact Jennifer [ Owner ] directly at jenn@groundedbodyworks.com to get this taken care of! 

Return Policy : We stand behind the quality of our products with a 100% guarantee on your satisfaction. If you decide you are not happy with your product, return it within 30 days and we will gladly refund, exchange or issue a store credit. 

Liability Waiver : By signing this spa release of liability and waiver, I am confirming that I recognize that there may be inherent risks associated with using certain equipment, utilizing the spa facilities, participating in programs and/or receiving spa treatments.

Acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for my own health; that the spa staff and/or technicians are not health care practitioners and cannot be expected to diagnose and/or treat individual health problems.

I understand that I am responsible for discussing any questions that I may have concerning my health conditions (if any) throughout any program or treatment at the spa and should any health-related symptoms occur, I will cease my participation and inform spa personnel of the symptoms.

In the event that I have reason to believe that medical clearance must be obtained prior to participation in any spa treatments, therapies, steam, or facility equipment, I agree to first consult a physician and obtain written permission from a physician prior to the commencement of any program, treatment or activity.

By voluntarily choosing to receive spa-related treatments and/or participate in spa-related activities and programs, I warrant that to the best of my knowledge, I have no disability, impairment or ailment that prevents me from receiving such treatments and/or engaging in such participation.

Consequently, in light of the foregoing, I hereby release the spa (and its parent corporation(s)), subsidiaries, affiliated corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders and employees and waive any and all claims, liabilities, or damages for personal injuries that I may experience directly or indirectly from receiving spa related treatments, utilizing the spa facilities and/or participation in the programs or activities offered by the spa.

When I first walked in, I already felt relaxed. The interior is very welcoming and smells great!! I had an amazing massage. The pressure was great and she was very friendly.
