Mounted Staghorn Fern

Staghorn Ferns enjoy being permanently attached to the base of a Southern Live Oak, where they will adhere and fully grown around the branches of the tree. When grown outdoors, they enjoy dappled light, ample humidity and good air circulation.

Our plants are mounted and have naturally attached themselves to a thick cedar plank with their shield (also known as basal fronds) and include a hook for hanging. In climates with regular winter freezes, treat your Staghorn as you would an indoor air plant: Provide them bright light and a heavy misting once a week. Avoid cold and drying drafts in the winter.
